Washi Tape, or Paper Tape, is very popular.. especially in Japan! It is great for a variety of things.. you can use it in notebooks, planners, and journaling! Great for decorating binders and inside scrapbooks.. but we like to thing *outside* the box a little bit... so here are some more ideas!!
By cutting out an oval, for example, you have a perfect spot to stamp a sentiment! We paired the geometric designs (from the Washi Tape) with some geometric gold ribbon on a black card stock to make the design really pop!
I love this idea where you can use Washi Tape to make a quick card! By using the same kind of leaf shape in the tape as well as in the paper pattern, you can make a really fun and cohesive card!!
If you use an Envelope Punch Board, you can make your own envelopes in ANY SIZE!!
Then, you can decorate the flap with a bit of Washi Tape.. what beautiful shades of Blue and Teal!!
Many of us have a Roll of Brown Bag Paper laying around.. (If you don't, we sell it!)
A quick, fun way to wrap a gift is to make these cute little banners... a great way to make them all lay flat is to use an elastic cord.
*Tie the cord together so it creates a large loop
*Tape the loop to the counter top (Scotch Tape is best for this part)
*Tape pieces of Washi Tape to the cord, then trim the tape so they all look good :-)
*Remove the Elastic Cord from the counter top and wrap it around your box!!
Did you know you can stamp and emboss onto Washi Tape??
*Just use the Embossing Powder Prep Pad first!*
Check out this idea... Tape some Washi-Tape to the front of a card, die-cut out your sentiment, and then use the same Washi-Tape to tape a piece of paper on the inside to give contrast...
We LOVE Washi Tape around here!! Stop by any day of the week to see us to look at our selection!!!
See you soon!!
