This is such a FANTASTIC set of cards!!
- Start out by stamping onto a piece of white card stock. Ink the stamp with your Versamark ink pad. Use a Stamp Platform to stamp the image
- Apply Detail Gold Embossing Powder across the entire image and heat set it.
- Then lay down your Rounded Nesting Rectangles on your die-cut machine (you don't need ALL the rectangles, you can use the photo below to see how to arrange the die-cuts on your die cut machine)
- Cut into your piece of card stock that has the image stamped on it. You will end up with 3 Rounded Rectangles that fit one-inside-the-other
- Now, take a piece of 8 1/2" x 11" dark purple card stock and cut it in half LENGTHWISE. Score the paper at 2 3/4" from the LEFT and 2 3/4" from the RIGHT. This will create a gate-fold card
- Close the "gates" of the card and line up the largest Rounded Rectangle on top of the entire card. Adhere it on the LEFT GATE ONLY using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive
- Now, get the 2nd largest Rounded Rectangle and line it up inside the larger Rounded Rectangle and adhere it on the RIGHT GATE ONLY
- Finally, lay down the center Rounded Rectangle and lay it inside the Medium Rounded Rectangle and adhere it to the LEFT GATE ONLY
- At this point, when you open and close the gate-fold the Nesting Rounded Rectangles should INTERLOCK
- When you open up the gate fold, this is where you will place a piece of white card stock. BEFORE YOU ADHERE IT down, wrap the piece of white card stock with a piece of Gold Mesh Ribbon and use double sided tape to hold the ribbon in place. Then use double-sided tape to adhere the ribbon-wrapped card stock to the inside of the card.
- To finish off the card, wrap the closed card with a piece of sheer purple ribbon
- Start out with stamping your Whale Image with Versafine Clair, Nocturne Ink onto a piece of Light Grey card stock. Stamp at the TOP of the grey card stock so there is plenty of space below the whale.
- Cut a small piece of Black Wave handmade paper to fit on the front of the card. Use a pair of scissors to fussy-cut the waves so you can see the wave-shape
- Line up the wave paper with the bottom of the card base so you can see where the whale image is covered up. Use an X-acto Knife to cut the bottom part of the whale (where the wave covers up the whale) like the belly of the whale, his fins, and his tail. Tuck the Black Wave Paper underneath the edge of the whale.
- Wendy used a white card base, then layered a piece of black paper, and finally a piece of white paper to the front of the card base. Then, adhere the grey card stock with the whale onto the front of the card making sure to place a pop dot underneath each of the fins and the tail
- Start out by cutting the Delightful Daisy die cut out of white felt-weave card stock
- Use your water brushes and a water color palette to paint the daisies
- Wendy used a white card stock as your card base. She layered a piece of yellow polka-dot paper on the card base. Then, layered a smaller piece of dark brown card stock next and then laid a piece of ANOTHER yellow decorative paper on top of the brown card stock.
- Then, take your painted daisy die-cut and adhere the stem down with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and then use pop-dots behind the flowers and leaves to add dimension
- Finally, use the Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive to adhere an Oval Gem onto the center of each flower to make them more fun!!
