Aren't they just *BEAUTIFUL?!*
This die-cut is intricate and looks time-consuming.. but actually is very easy to put together!
Wendy cut out the image, then backed it with a gradation-style Handmade Paper. The blue-to-grey tones make this image look like a real lighthouse against the water... absolutely STUNNING, and like I said, our favorite card of the day. The sentiment, Healing, is made by Verses Rubber Stamps.
To create the clouds, Wendy used the Cloud Stencil by Rosie's Roadshow
At first glance, the floral image looks to be hand drawn... and Wendy said that was the effect she was going for!!
The technique: Stamp the image with Versamark ink on black paper. Wait for the ink to dry, then, trace the image with a Uni-ball white gel pen. Next, use a metallic watercolor set to color in the flowers.
Wendy had stamped this sweet sentiment, Wildflower by Impression Obsession, in the center. And boy.. It makes for a gorgeous card!!!
The sentiment she used, Light Up, is ALSO by Impression Obsession.. these stamps work PERFECTLY together!!
